Bandcamp Friday returns, handing all sales to artists
Original: It's # BandcampFriday , when Bandcamp waives its revenue share and passes on all the money to artists and labels. Check
Bandcamp is holding another Bandcamp Friday, the periodic event where the platform waives its revenue share so that artists and labels receive the full amount of every purchase. Fans are being encouraged to buy music directly and support their favorite musicians, with music communities sharing feeds and recommendations to help listeners discover new releases to buy.
Why now: Music fans are promoting the event to encourage direct support of artists during a difficult period for musician incomes.
