Comic artist pushes out new update despite exhaustion
Original: New comic is up - by a pure miracle because I am absolutely crashed (no blogposts or youtube community post this week gu
An independent comic artist says a new comic page is online 'by a pure miracle' while battling severe burnout, cancelling this week's blog posts and community updates. Readers are being pointed to Tapas, Ko-fi, and a print volume of the comic for sale, with the artist asking fans to share the work. The post reflects the strain solo creators face juggling regular updates with marketing and merchandise.
Why now: Fans follow the artist's updates and the candid mention of burnout resonates with creative communities.
Evidence
- New comic is up - by a pure miracle because I am absolutely crashed (no blogposts or youtube community post this week guys, I just can't) - so go read it from my tapas, kofi, or buy VOL1 if you like reading them as hardback or paperback versions!
