New York Governor Kathy Hochul has appointed a special prosecutor to investigate a rape case connected to Cornell University, saying local authorities failed to properly handle it. She said she 'wants the truth', signalling concern over the original handling of the case and drawing attention to how such allegations are pursued on campus.
