Iran demands concrete US guarantees to end war

Original: Khatibzadeh: Iran seeks concrete US guarantees to end war

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh says Iran wants concrete guarantees from the United States before ending the current war. Tehran is signalling that any ceasefire or settlement would require verifiable American commitments, not just verbal assurances, as diplomatic efforts to defuse the conflict continue.

Why now: Ongoing Iran-US tensions and war make any stated Iranian negotiating condition newsworthy
