Court hears Palestine Action activists threatened guards with whips
Original: Palestine Action activists used whips and hammers to threaten guards at arms factory, court hears https://www.theguardia
Prosecutors told a Bristol court that Palestine Action activists used whips and hammers to threaten security guards during an action at an Elbit Systems arms factory. The allegations, reported by the Guardian, add to scrutiny of the group, which the UK government moved to proscribe as a terrorist organisation earlier this year.
Why now: The trial is drawing attention amid ongoing controversy over the UK's ban on Palestine Action and its campaign against Elbit Systems.
