A middle-aged man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after being convicted of blowing up ULEZ surveillance cameras, including CCTV and ANPR units, around London. Courts said the explosions endangered the general public, and the lengthy sentence reflects that danger as an aggravating factor in the case.
Why now: The sentence is one of the longest tied to anti-ULEZ camera vandalism, drawing wide attention amid ongoing controversy over London's clean-air charge.
