Original: Tom Dundon's Blazers can't avoid drama. Instead, it's all about Dundon https://www. nytimes.com/athletic/7653499/2 026/1

Tom Dundon, who took over as owner of the Portland Trail Blazers roughly six months ago, is already at the center of controversy in Portland, including the reported firing of a TV announcer. Coverage argues that rather than quieting distractions, Dundon's decisions have kept the franchise in the headlines for the wrong reasons, with attention fixed on the owner himself rather than the team.

Why now: Dundon's recent decisions, including a TV announcer firing, have put the new Blazers owner at the center of fresh controversy.
