Dan Houser Deliberately Avoided GTA 6 Reveal Coverage

Original: Former Rockstar Writer Dan Houser Skips GTA 6 Reveal to Protect His Own Projects

Dan Houser, the co-founder and former head writer of Rockstar Games, reportedly chose to avoid the Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal, saying he wanted to shield his own studio's projects from comparison and keep focus on his new work. The story highlights the split between Houser's post-Rockstar venture, Absurd Ventures, and the franchise he helped define. Gamers are debating whether his distance signals rivalry or simply a clean break.

Why now: Houser's comments come just as anticipation for GTA 6 dominates gaming news, making his detachment from the franchise a talking point.
