Alberta NDP urged to oppose public funding for pipeline

Original: And here's more @ avilewis . THIS is what the ABNDP should be reposing, NOT Danielle Smith: "Throwing billions in public

Commentary circulating among Canadian progressives argues the Alberta NDP should be responding to plans to pour billions of dollars of public money into a pipeline, rather than focusing its attacks on Premier Danielle Smith. Critics say the spending comes amid climate breakdown while environmental protections, meaningful Indigenous consultation and workers' interests are being pushed aside. The remarks, shared and amplified by former NDP MP Avi Lewis, are fueling debate over the party's direction on energy policy.

Why now: Public money being committed to a pipeline project is sparking debate among Alberta progressives about what the NDP should prioritize.
