A mistaken report that slipped past MLB Trade Rumors has baseball fans clarifying that pitcher Jose Urquidy remains a free agent. The 31-year-old right-hander has not signed with a team, and commentators are pointing out the error while noting that any club in need of pitching can still sign him.
Why now: A published report wrongly implied the free-agent pitcher had signed, prompting fans to correct the record.
