Sewist recalls accidentally joining an undead army at Mythodea LARP
Original: How I accidentally joined an undead army at the world’s biggest LARP (ConQuest of Mythodea)
The world's largest live-action roleplay event, ConQuest of Mythodea in Germany, drew fresh attention after a well-known historical costuming maker recounted how she ended up fighting for the undead faction. Her story of improvised gear, massive battles with thousands of players, and the scale of the event has entertained audiences far beyond the LARP community, with many praising her outsider's perspective and the sheer spectacle of the gathering.
Why now: The engaging first-person account of a newcomer's mishap at Europe's biggest LARP event is spreading widely beyond the niche roleplay audience.
