Newgrounds revisited as a home for games, music and art
Original: Newgrounds.com – A community of games, music, and art
Newgrounds, the long-running independent community for games, music and animation, is drawing fresh attention as a discussion topic. The site has hosted user-created content and launched many well-known developers and animators since the 1990s. Commenters are revisiting its role in internet culture and its continued support for creators outside mainstream platforms.
Why now: Nostalgia and renewed interest in independent creator communities have put the veteran site back in conversation.
