Scientists Say Prize-Winning Microscope Video Contains AI Fabrications

Original: Contest-Winning Microscope Video Is Full of AI Confabulations, Scientists Say https://gizmodo.com/contest-winning-micros

Why now: It taps ongoing anxiety about AI-generated fake imagery slipping into science prizes and media.
