Original: Dave Portnoy, Barstool Sports are off Fox’s ‘Big Noon Kickoff’: Sources - The Athletic
Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports are no longer part of Fox's college football pregame show 'Big Noon Kickoff', according to reporting by The Athletic citing sources. The New York Times has picked up the story. No official explanation has been given for the split, and it is not yet clear who might replace the Barstool segment or what it means for the show's format going forward.
Why now: Portnoy is a prominent and polarizing sports media figure, so news of his sudden exit from a major network show is drawing wide attention.
