Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said the road surface and trolleybus overhead lines on the North Bridge have been damaged, and traffic from the left to the right bank of the Dnipro has been closed. Bus routes 21, 73, 101 and 114 and trolleybus routes 29, 30, 31 and 47 are running with delays or diversions while repairs are carried out.
Why now: Bridge closures and transport disruptions affect many Kyiv commuters, and residents want to know what caused the damage and when it will reopen.
