Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko reported damage to the road surface and trolleybus contact network on the North Bridge, which crosses the Dnipro River in the Ukrainian capital. Traffic from the left to the right bank has been closed while repairs are assessed, affecting commuters between the city's eastern districts and the city centre.
Why now: Bridge infrastructure damage in Kyiv signals the ongoing war's impact on the capital and disrupts daily transport.
