Original: Domenicali confirms Qatar and Abu Dhabi will host final races of 2026 F1 season
Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has confirmed that Qatar and Abu Dhabi will host the final rounds of the 2026 F1 season. The Lusail circuit in Qatar and Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi have both held the year's closing races in recent seasons, and the announcement keeps that run of Middle Eastern season finales in place for 2026. Fans and media are now looking ahead to the full 2026 calendar and where the title fight will be decided.
Why now: The 2026 F1 calendar is taking shape ahead of major regulation changes, making the venue of the season finale a talking point.
