PETA Highlights Animals Used for Entertainment
Original: Animals Used for Entertainment
PETA is drawing attention to the use of animals for entertainment, continuing its long-running campaign against practices such as circus performances, marine parks and animal-acting industries. The animal rights group argues these animals endure confinement and training methods that cause suffering, and is urging the public to avoid venues that use animals as performers.
Why now: PETA is actively campaigning on the issue, keeping animal welfare in entertainment in public discussion.
