Forth ported to Sega's SC-3000 retro hardware
Original: More like SC-Forth-thousand, am I right?
A developer has ported the Forth programming language to the Sega SC-3000, the early-1980s home computer sibling of the SG-1000 games console, documenting the work in a detailed write-up. The effort is drawing attention from retro computing hobbyists, with playful praise for squeezing an interactive Forth environment into such limited vintage hardware.
Why now: The retro computing community enjoys seeing new software ports to obscure 1980s hardware, and the wordplay in the write-up is being shared along with it
Rank over time, top of the chart is #1. 17 snapshots from 4 h ago to 12 min ago.
