A new camper conversion built on Isuzu's five-seat Elf truck, marketed as the NTB 'Aosagi', has gone on public display in Japan. At about five metres long it can be driven on a standard Japanese licence with automatic-transmission restriction, and its sleeper layout is said to accommodate six people, making it popular with the car-camping crowd.
Why now: Japan's ongoing camper-van and car-sleeping boom, with a compact truck that ordinary licence holders can drive generating strong interest.
