Commentator links France student protests to migrant teenagers

Original: India must pay a little attention to what is happening in France. This "student protest" is driven largely by minors/tee

A widely shared post from India urges attention to student protests in France, claiming they are driven largely by minors and teenagers from second- and third-generation migrant families, and that vested left-wing groups hijacked the demonstrations. It points to identical face masks, slogans and placards as signs of coordination. The claims echo wider debates in India about protest movements and their alleged organisers.

Why now: The France protests are drawing attention in India because commentators see parallels with domestic debates over who organises and funds street movements.
