Lindy Li, ex-Democratic insider, weighing another run for Congress
Original: From Democratic insider to party exile: Lindy Li isn’t ruling out another run for Congress
Lindy Li, once a prominent Democratic fundraiser and party insider who broke with the party, says she is not ruling out another congressional campaign after her public falling-out with fellow Democrats. Her shift from party loyalist to critic has made her a notable figure in conversations about internal Democratic divisions, and any new run would draw attention to where she now stands politically.
Why now: Her break with the Democratic Party and openness to another congressional bid make her story newsworthy amid ongoing debate over Democratic Party divisions.
