Jerry Jones keeps trying to fix Cowboys defense after Parsons trade
Original: Jerry Jones continues path to fix defense that has been broken since Micah Parsons trade https://www.nytimes.com/athleti
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is continuing efforts to repair a defense that has struggled since the team traded star pass rusher Micah Parsons to Green Bay. Reporting highlights moves such as interest in Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. as part of that rebuild, with fans debating whether the front office can restore a unit weakened by losing its best defensive player.
Why now: The Cowboys' defense has underperformed since the contentious Parsons trade, so every roster move Jones makes draws heavy scrutiny.
