Original: Sudan says RSF drone strikes target governor’s house, civilian sites in Blue Nile state

Sudanese authorities say drones belonging to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces struck the governor's residence in Blue Nile state, along with civilian sites. The attacks mark an expansion of the two-year war into a previously less affected region. Officials condemned the strikes as targeting civilian infrastructure, while the RSF has not confirmed the attacks.

Why now: The war between Sudan's army and the RSF is spreading to new regions, raising fears of wider civilian harm.
