Caitlin Clark won't team with Nelly Korda in LPGA pro-am
Original: Caitlin Clark won't team with Nelly Korda in LPGA pro-am event
Basketball star Caitlin Clark will not partner with world No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda in an upcoming LPGA pro-am event, despite earlier expectations of a high-profile pairing. The announcement disappoints fans who had anticipated seeing two of the biggest names in women's sports compete together at the tournament.
Why now: Clark is a major draw in women's sports, so news of her skipping a much-hyped LPGA pro-am pairing with Korda draws wide attention
