Neon and A24 to Release Rival SCP Foundation Horror Films
Original: Neon vs A24: Studios to Release Competing Horror Movies Next Year Based on the SCP Foundation
Neon and A24 are both moving ahead with horror films based on the SCP Foundation, the sprawling collaborative online fiction project about a secret organisation that contains paranormal anomalies. The two prestige studios are set to release their competing adaptations in the same year, setting up an unusual box-office showdown built on internet-born horror lore. Fans are debating which studio's take will do the collaborative mythos justice.
Why now: Two of the most prominent arthouse horror studios are adapting the same cult internet fiction property at the same time, an unexpected and highly unusual rivalry.
