Last charity kitchen in Gaza's Al-Mawasi feeds hundreds of thousands
Original: # watch 📲 Palestinians gather to obtain # food from the last remaining operational charity kitchen in Al-Mawasi #KhanY
A charity kitchen in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, is now the last one still operating in the area, and crowds of Palestinians are gathering there to obtain food. According to WAFA footage circulated online, the kitchen serves roughly 900,000 people facing displacement and hunger, underscoring the collapse of food distribution across Gaza.
Why now: Renewed attention to the worsening hunger crisis in Gaza and the collapse of aid infrastructure there.
