The Witcher 3 defended as 2015's true game of the year
Original: Forget what PC Gamer said: The Witcher 3 will always be my 2015 GOTY
A columnist at PC Gamer has pushed back against the outlet's own 2015 game of the year verdict, arguing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt deserves the title regardless of what the magazine previously decided. The piece is a personal reappraisal of CD Projekt Red's fantasy epic, revisiting why it stood out in a strong year and insisting its status as 2015's best game still holds up.
Why now: The debate over 2015's best game remains a popular nostalgia topic among gamers, and a writer contradicting their own outlet's verdict sparks discussion.
