Original: India backs dialogue, diplomacy to end Ukraine conflict: Jaishankar at India-Russia meet

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said India supports dialogue and diplomacy as the path to ending the Ukraine conflict, speaking at an India-Russia bilateral meeting. His remarks underline New Delhi's long-standing position that the war should be resolved through negotiation rather than escalation, and come as the two countries continue regular high-level exchanges on political and strategic issues.
