RSF Militia Targets UN Aid Convoys in Dilling
The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces are reported to have targeted UN aid convoys in Dilling, a city in Sudan's South Kordofan region. The attacks on humanitarian supplies come as Sudan's civil war continues to severely restrict aid delivery, deepening an already dire hunger crisis. Observers say assaults on UN logistics could further isolate civilians in contested areas who depend entirely on outside assistance.
Why now: Attacks on UN humanitarian convoys escalate concerns about aid access during Sudan's ongoing civil war.
