Fans say Murdoc's body is now possessed by Pazuzu
Original: Murdoc's soul vacated and his body has been taken over by Pazuzu. Sounds about right.
Gorillaz fans are joking that bassist Murdoc Niccals' soul has left his body and been replaced by the demon Pazuzu, best known from The Exorcist. The quip plays on Murdoc's long-established reputation as the band's chaotic, morally dubious wild card, with fans agreeing the demonic possession storyline 'sounds about right' for the character.
Why now: Fans are reacting to a new Gorillaz development or storyline suggesting Murdoc is possessed.
