Drag Conference 'Our Political Intimacies' in Paris After Pride
Original: After Pride : Conférence Drag : Nos intimités politiques de et par Giboulé de Marx théâtre du Gai Savoir, samedi 10 octo
The Marx theatre of the Gai Savoir is hosting 'After Pride', a drag conference titled 'Our Political Intimacies', performed by drag artist Giboulé de Marx on Saturday 10 October at 20:00. The show opens with a deliberately absurd question — whether Karl Marx, had he been gay, would have been a 'power bottom' — and from there explores the political dimensions of queer intimacy.
Why now: The event's provocative blend of drag performance and political theory is drawing attention as Pride-season programming.
