iPhone 18 Pro Max gaming test shows 69% less performance loss
Original: Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max gaming test shows up to 69% less performance loss than iPhone 17 Pro Max
A new gaming test of Apple's unannounced iPhone 18 Pro Max reportedly shows up to 69% less performance loss than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, suggesting significantly improved thermal management during sustained loads. If accurate, the result would address a common criticism of recent iPhones, which tend to throttle frame rates during extended gaming sessions. Details about the device remain unconfirmed as Apple has not announced it.
Why now: A leaked or early benchmark comparing an unreleased flagship iPhone to its predecessor naturally draws attention from Apple watchers ahead of launch.
