An indie developer is recruiting playtesters for a beta roguelike deckbuilder set in a fantastical Brazilian sertão, where the hero is a cat by day and a man by night. The game pairs auto-shooter battles with poetry, and players can sign up online to try it out. Early chatter frames it as a distinctive take on the crowded deckbuilder genre, leaning on Brazilian folklore and unusual storytelling.
Why now: The playtest sign-up has just opened, drawing attention from indie gaming communities.
