Original: Xavier Legette placed on IR
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette has been placed on injured reserve, ruling him out for at least four games. The move comes as a blow to a Panthers receiving corps already working to build consistency this season. Fans and analysts are weighing what the loss means for Carolina's passing attack and who will step up in his absence.
Why now: His absence immediately weakens the Panthers' offense and affects fantasy football rosters.
