Home gardener harvests first grapes after fence rebuild

A gardener has picked this year's grape crop, reporting that lower vines produced little because they were only planted in the past year after the fence was redone and everything trimmed back last fall. The harvest did not fill a full bin, but they say there will be plenty for a dozen or more jars of homemade grape juice.
Why now: It is harvest season, so home gardeners are sharing their crop results.
