A German tech blogger has built a portable Wi-Fi repeater dubbed 'Breitband-Berta' to get internet into the garden. The device combines a spare GL.iNet travel router, a 30,000 mAh power bank and a Pringles can into a battery-run wireless extender. The project is drawing attention as a clever example of reusing leftover hardware for a simple home problem.
Why now: The creative upcycling of everyday parts into a working outdoor Wi-Fi solution is resonating with tech and DIY enthusiasts.
