Dave Grohl and Tom Morello performed a cover of Kiss at the Power to the People benefit concert, and the pairing is drawing head-scratching reactions. Critics point out that Kiss, particularly Gene Simmons, have been vocal supporters of Donald Trump, making the song choice an odd fit for a politically charged event. Some online joked the duo might as well perform the Village People's YMCA next.
Why now: People find it ironic that two politically left-leaning rock figures covered a band associated with Trump support at a political concert.
