Funeral prayers have been held at Saint Porphyrius church in Gaza City for a mother and daughter killed in an Israeli strike. Mourners gathered at the historic Orthodox church, one of Gaza's oldest Christian sites, to bury the two women. The deaths have drawn attention again to the toll of the conflict on civilians, including Gaza's small Christian community.
Why now: The strike on a family near a historic church highlights ongoing civilian casualties in Gaza and the plight of its tiny Christian minority.
