Panthers place Xavier Legette on IR with knee injury

Original: Panthers place wide receiver Xavier Legette on IR with knee injury

The Carolina Panthers have placed wide receiver Xavier Legette on injured reserve because of a knee injury. The move rules him out for at least four games and forces the Panthers to adjust a receiving corps already short on proven options, with quarterback Bryce Young losing one of his intended targets as the season continues.

Why now: Losing a young receiver to injured reserve directly affects the Panthers' offense and fantasy football decisions this week.
