Bears put left tackle Braxton Jones on injured reserve
Original: Bears LT Braxton Jones on IR; Theo Benedet to start vs. Jets
The Chicago Bears have placed left tackle Braxton Jones on injured reserve, sidelining him as they prepare to face the New York Jets. Theo Benedet is set to start at left tackle in his place. The move thins an already strained offensive line, and fans are watching whether Benedet can protect the quarterback against the Jets' pass rush.
