Colorado State Patrol warns drivers of rising wildlife collisions
Original: CSP warns drivers of increased wildlife collisions
The Colorado State Patrol is warning drivers about an increase in collisions with wildlife on the state's roads. The agency is urging motorists to stay alert, particularly during times of day when animals such as deer and elk are most active near highways. Drivers are reminded to slow down and watch the roadsides, especially in rural areas.
Why now: Seasonal increases in animal movement are putting more drivers at risk of collisions right now.
