The BC Lions beat the Toronto Argonauts 24-17 on the road, with quarterback Nathan Rourke and the Lions offence held out of the end zone but kicker-fuelled efficiency proving decisive. Toronto's defence limited BC to eight field goals, yet the visitors' total stood up, handing the Argonauts a home loss in CFL play.

Why now: Fans are reacting to an unusual CFL win in which eight field goals, not touchdowns, carried a team to victory.
