A new golf challenge episode pits Soso Takei, an entertainer often called one of Japan's strongest athletes, against former SKE48 idol Rara Goto, playing under the management of a professional caddie. The matchup is framed as a contest to beat each other from the rough, with pros Morimoto and Shimizu also involved.
Why now: The unusual pairing of a former idol and a famously competitive entertainer in a caddie-managed golf match is drawing attention among golf fans in Japan.
