Hannah Cohen covers Robert Lester Folsom's 'Music and Dreams'

Original: "Music and Dreams" by Hannah Cohen (Robert Lester Folsom cover)

Singer-songwriter Hannah Cohen has released a cover of 'Music and Dreams', originally by Robert Lester Folsom, via Northern Transmissions. The song introduces Folsom's obscure 1970s folk material to a new audience, with Cohen's restrained interpretation drawing attention to the original songwriter. Listeners are sharing the track among fans of indie folk revivals and rediscovered singer-songwriters.

Why now: A contemporary indie artist covering a little-known songwriter sparks renewed interest in both catalogues.
