Indonesia's BGN Lets Free Meal Kitchens Change Foundations Over Unfair Fees

Original: BGN Allows MBG Kitchens to Switch Foundations Over Unfair Financial Demands

Indonesia's National Nutrition Agency (BGN) says kitchens running its free nutritious meal (MBG) program may switch to different partner foundations if they face unfair financial demands. The move is aimed at protecting operators from alleged improper charges, though officials did not detail which kitchens or foundations are involved.

Why now: Allegations of unfair financial demands on kitchens in Indonesia's flagship free school meals program have raised public concern about how the program is managed.
