A French-language commentator is criticising television news coverage, accusing broadcasters of staging manipulation through selectively chosen street interviews (micros-trottoirs) and an oversized magazine segment promoting dream holidays on paradise islands. The post, tagged under television and politics, calls the channel's output poor quality. The remarks reflect ongoing frustration in France over perceived bias and trivialisation in TV news programming.

Why now: Ongoing French debate about perceived bias and dumbing-down in television news coverage.
