Original: arena
The Kennedy Center Honors, the annual celebration of American performing artists, will be held at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, DC, rather than at the Kennedy Center itself. The move marks an unusual venue change for the prestigious ceremony, which traditionally takes place at the center's opera house. The switch has drawn attention as the honors remain one of the biggest nights in US culture.
