A social media user is urging a boycott of Israeli film productions, arguing that movies count as products under the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement. The post criticizes Israeli filmmakers, saying they should revolt against their government over what the user describes as an ongoing genocide. The message reflects ongoing online debate over cultural boycotts of Israel amid the Gaza war.

Why now: Anger over the Gaza war is driving renewed calls to extend BDS boycotts to Israeli cultural products like films.
