Users on decentralised social networks are circulating posts about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, tagging hashtags including GazaCrisis, PalestineAid and GazaAid. The activity is part of ongoing efforts to keep attention on aid deliveries and the condition of civilians in the territory, with participants tagging one another to widen the reach of the messages.
Why now: Continuing concerns over the humanitarian situation in Gaza are prompting people to share information and aid appeals online.
